Drop in for a delicious lunch: FoodCycle Cambridge serve a delicious lunch at Wesley Methodist Church every Saturday to a range of people from the community. They also cook at Barnwell Baptist Church every other Wednesday evening. Each week they collect surplus produce locally from Sainsbury’s, Marks and Spencer, Waterland Organics/Cambridge Crop Share, Radmore Farm Shop and the Cambridge Fruit and Veg Company. Drop into Arjuna to pick up a programme for the Pumpkin Festival and to sample an array of delicious pumpkin goods displayed outside their shop, including roasted pumpkin seeds, pumpkin cakes and puddings, and steak and pumpkin pie! A cake-decorating workshop with a difference. Co., a new cafe concentrating on sustainable, locally sourced food, are teaming up with Katie from Allotment Cafe, who serves seasonal food much of it grown in her own allotment, to bring to you a health-friendly workshop for kids.
